Understandably, great attention was drawn to presentation of achievements of our colleagues in Wroclaw, in Lower Silesia and widely on the lands recovered, starting from 1945.

The program of International Scientific Workshops ISSA2018 and all received abstracts of the presentations are available on this website.

The thematic scope and organization form of the recent workshops were similar to the previous editions held in 2014 and in 2016. The scientific goals refer to the innovative structural systems recently developed or applied in objects of contemporary architecture as well as in renovation of buildings considered as historic monuments. The scientific scope was also extended to newly developed methods of architectonic or structural design proposed for shaping the bearing systems of big structural efficiency for various multi-storey buildings, including high-rise buildings, the lightweight roof structures, bridges, footbridges and systems of foldable or retractable roof covers.
